Does this soaker hose work with low water pressure?

Yes — soaker hoses run best at 10–25 PSI, well below standard household pressure. No booster pump needed, and the included splitter keeps flow strong across both zones.

Can I bury the soaker hose, or does it need to sit on top of the soil?

Lay it on the soil surface and cover with 2–3 inches of mulch. Mulching protects the hose, keeps water cool, and slows evaporation. Direct burial can clog the porous walls and shorten lifespan.

Will this work for established trees and shrubs?

Yes. Coil the hose around the drip line — the area under the outer edge of the canopy — and run for 30–60 minutes. Slow, deep soaking reaches the root zone without surface runoff or wasted water.

Can I combine this with a drip irrigation system or a hose timer?

Yes. Both ends use standard 3/4" garden-hose threads, so any timer, splitter, or drip kit connects directly. Run a soaker line on one zone and a drip system on the other using the included splitter.

We're a small team of passionate gardeners. We learned everything we know in our grandparents' vegetable patch back in Romania, and we've made plenty of mistakes since. We've poured all of it into tools that make watering easier, so you can spend more time enjoying your garden and less time dragging a hose around it.

Will one kit water more than one bed?

Yes. You get 50 ft of continuous soaker hose, which covers two standard 6x3 ft or 8x4 ft beds. Beds further apart? Bridge them with 1/2" mainline and an accessory fitting.

How did we get our start?

In our grandparents' garden in Romania. We spent our summers there and learned everything from them. Years later we were still watering by hand, so we built what we wished we'd had.
